Which Crops Monitored for Pests?
Both dryland and irrigated crops including but not limited to
alfalfa ,corn dry beans, forages, onion, potatoes, sugar beets,
sunflowers, wheat.
What Does Pest Alert Do?
The Pest Alert Program monitors economic pests of field crops
in northern region (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Kit Carson, Logan,
Phillips, Yuma, Sedgwick, Washington and Weld counties) and
neighboring counties in northeastern Colorado during the entire
growing season using light and pheromone traps and field scouting. |
