Undergraduate

Through a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), gain the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for traditional and innovative approaches to professional journalistic and related communication responsibilities.

We prepare you for careers in traditional and online journalism, public relations, advertising, science communication, online media, video production, photography, sports and business media, and web design.

Graduate

Explore communication concepts, theories, effects, and problems of communication, modern media, and journalism/communication education.

M.S.

We prepare you for management careers in communications related to health, environment, science, and online communication; public relations, strategic communication, and/or the pursuit of higher-level academic work.

M.C.M.M.

Our partially synchronous and online program prepares you for work related to internal and external communications. Students learn in-demand communication technologies, create multimedia content, develop communications plans, and analyze organizational strategies. This program is ideal for professionals seeking to advance or pursue career opportunities.

Ph.D.

Our PhD program focuses on societal concerns, including the role of information in understanding contemporary issues, trends and events, and the impact of new communication technologies on citizens and professional communicators.
