Welcome to the Diversity Library

As part of our program's commitment to diversity, we endeavor to infuse a multicultural, pluralistic perspective into the training of our graduate students. The Diversity Library has been created as a resource for faculty members and graduate students in the Counseling Psychology program and is composed of articles, books, and videos addressing diverse issues (i.e., race, ethnicity, gender, class, sexual orientation) in the Counseling Psychology curriculum.  The following list is arranged by course number/title.

If you are a faculty member or student in the Counseling Psychology program and you would like to order a copy of an article, or would like to borrow a book from the library, please note the course number, author, and title of the article or book.  Next, email Serenity Chambers, Diversity Teaching Assistant at sc@lamar.colostate.edu. She will deliver the items to your departmental mailbox. Videos can be ordered directly from the CCHE library by emailing cche@lamar.colostate.edu.  If there is a particular topic area that is not addressed and about which you would like information, please email Serenity with your request and she will research it for you.  Additionally, if you have suggestions for specific articles or books related to diversity that you feel would benefit other faculty members and graduate students, please contact Serenity so she may add them to the library.  Lastly, Serenity welcomes any feedback about the Diversity Library or this website.
