Updating Information in the Directory

The information found in these directory services is automatically updated twice a week from a number of database systems including the student information system, the human resource information system, and the eID database.

Students

Students are able to make updates to some of their personal information found in the directory through eID and RAMweb. Other changes must be made through the Registrar's Office. Students are also able to publish a Web site address.

Note:The online departmental listing is generated using the files for the printed directory rather than automatically updated from database systems. Therefore, the information in the online departmental listing is only updated once a year.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff members are able to make updates to some of their personal information found in the directory through eID and are also able to publish a Web site address. Other changes must be directed to a departmental human resource representative.

Removing Information from the Directory

In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), students have the option of removing themselves from the directory. This may be done through eID or the Registrar's Office.
