2014 Rocky Mountain Showdown

Ram fans have plenty of opportunities to get into the spirit of the state’s biggest rivalry in 2014!

Events will kick into high gear on Thursday, August 28 with Ram Rallies in Denver Thursday and Friday evenings.

Game day is August 29 and events begin with the pregame Ram Rally at the stadium, followed by the 7 p.m kickoff of the 2014 Rocky Mountain Showdown football game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Xfinity Live with Vic Lombardi

Join Lombardi and fans of CSU and CU at The Viewhouse (20th and Market St.) for a spirited talk about the upcoming game.

Thursday, August 28

Ram Rally in Denver
5:30 - 7:30 p.m., LoDo’s, 1946 Market Street, Denver

Feast on a nacho bar, buffalo sliders, and participate in (or watch) the annual buffalo wing eating contest! Sport your green & gold, take photos in the photo booth, and rally with Elite DJ's, CAM the Ram, and the CSU Cheer Squad.

Women's Basketball Coach Ryun Williams and Volleyball Coach Tom Hilbert will be there to address the crowd.

Pep rally at Taste of Colorado

Join members of the CSU Marching Band and Spirit Squad at noon for a CSU/CU pep rally at the KYGO Country Stage.

Rally will last 30 min.

Get Your Green on Day

CSU faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters are encouraged to wear their green and gold to work and classes to show their Ram Pride during College Colors Day. College Colors Day is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that make the college experience great by encouraging people across America to wear apparel of their favorite college or university throughout the day.

CSU Alumni Association’s Pregame Rally
4-6:30 p.m., Lot J - Gate 3

This event features CAM the Ram, a performance by the CSU Marching Band and Spirit Squad, and lots of Ram Pride. The event is open to the public. Attendees can purchase a ticket that includes a drink and access to the food tent. A food ticket costs $25 for members (Alumni Association, Ram Club and RAAA), $30 for non-members and $15 for children 12 and under. Register online by August 25. Buy your meal ticket online.

Single Game Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online at CSURams.com/tickets, over the phone at 800/491-RAMS (7267), or in person at the McGraw Athletic Center Ticket Office (8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday).

  • Club seat & Luxury Suite gates open: 5:00pm
  • CSU/CU President's Reception (West Club): 5:00pm - 6:30pm

  • Kickoff: 7:00pm (FOX Sports 1)

Per Sports Authority Field, you may purchase as many parking spaces as needed for your RV at $25/each spot. You may not take up an extra parking spot for your tailgate festivities.

Bag Policy Overview

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into stadiums, the NFL has implemented a new policy limiting the size and type of bags permitted into the stadium.

The Broncos encourage fans not to bring any bags, however the following will be permitted:

  • One clear bag no larger than 12" by x 6" x 12" OR a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
  • In addition, fans may carry a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5" x 4.5", with or without a strap.
  • Each ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse.
