My research program studies the metabolism and biochemistry of biologically active compounds produced by plant roots, and the uses of plants for nutrition, pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications. The ultimate goal of our research program is to develop a better understanding of the biosynthetic potential of plant roots, and of underground plant organs in general.
