Center for Global Education - Augsberg College
Travel Seminar - Mexico
June 24-July 3, 2005
Registration deadline: March 18, 2005

Come to Mexico in summer 2005 to learn about the cultural, political, and social context of sexuality and gender identity. 35 years after the Stonewall Rebellion in New York, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender voices play an increasingly prominant role in the United States, yet many GLBT and allied persons know very little about GLBT culture and community in other parts of the world. This travel seminar will explore several cultural contexts in order to understand how the global movement and mobilization for gay and lesbian rights affects the lives of people worldwide.

For more information about the course and travel seminar, contact Janelle Bussert, at 612-330-1202 or the Center for Global Education.
