Future TAP Courses The following courses and workshops reflect the TAP program. EDCT 471 is the introductory course for incoming teachers and is a pre-requisite to the other face-to-face courses. EDCT 486 Practicum is offered to teachers who are working with local mentors. EDCT 494, an independent study in professional development, EDCT 472, and EDCT 473 are also open to teachers wishing to renew their credentials (approval required). Please understand that we serve the entire state and attempt to host classes at different locations. EDCT 471 - Orientation and Assessment of New Teachers (2 credits)
