The No. 13 ranked CSU volleyball team will play its lone match of the week on Friday night, hosting the Wyoming Cowgirls. The Rams have won 20 consecutive matches against Wyoming.

CSU ranks eighth in the country in attendance at 2,697 fans per match. That home court advantage has the Rams riding a 21-match home winning streak, the fourth-longest current home winning streak of any team in the country that has played at least two seasons at the NCAA Division I level.

Team picture night

Friday is Team Picture Night. Fans can get their picture taken with the entire team. Participants will receive a voucher for one free general-admission ticket to the Oct. 4 match against Arizona, where they can pick up their printed picture.

Barnes named player of the week

On Monday, senior Mekana Barnes was named the MWC Co-Player of the Week. It marked her fifth career weekly award. Angela Knopf (1997-2001) holds the school record with six Player of the Week awards.

Tuesdays with Coach Hilbert

The Colorado State women's volleyball team put up a very valiant effort in its attempt to win the Mountain West Conference regular season championship for the seventh time since 1999, however they ran into a Utah team running on all cylinders and fell just short, losing a hard fought four set match (25-18, 25-27, 18-25, 23-25) on Saturday.

Rams volleyball falls short in marathon against BYU
The Colorado State women's volleyball team showed the heart of a champion in their match against BYU on Thursday. Unfortunately, they came up just short in a five-set thriller, failing to convert six match points after coming all the way back from an early two-set deficit.

The Colorado State volleyball program has signed Dana Cranston to a National Letter of Intent, Head Coach Tom Hilbert announced Thursday.

Volleyball watch party set for Thursday night
On Thursday, C.B. & Potts in Fort Collins will be hosting a watch party, beginning at 6 p.m., for the CSU volleyball team as the Rams begin their most crucial trip of the season. First serve for the Rams match at BYU is set for 7 p.m. MT and will be shown live on The Mtn. network.

CSU travels for final conference games
The Rams have won two straight and 11 of the last 16 matches against BYU. Against the Utes, CSU has won 11 of the last 17 matches.
