Reception and Graduation Fall 2007
All 2007 Journalism and Technical Communication graduates, family
and friends were invited to a pre-graduation reception, Saturday,
December 15, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm in the Grey Rock Room on the north
end of the Lory Student Center, main floor. Department faculty presented awards for outstanding graduates in each concentration. College of Liberal Arts
graduation ceremonies followed the reception at 4:00 pm in Moby
Arena.
Overall, a total of 139 undergraduates and 11 graduate students
completed their JTC degrees in 2007. The Department’s fall
2007 graduating class includes 51 undergraduates and five graduate
students. This compares to 77 undergraduates and two graduate
students who received degrees in May. Eleven undergraduates
and four graduate students finished their degrees in the summer.
