All other cellular providers, including non-Telecommunications Sprint Accounts, will be blocked in the ACARD system as well as for AFE payments. Colorado State University has entered into a multi-year strategic agreement with Sprint-Nextel to provide cellular service and devices to CSU. This program is mandatory for faculty and staff authorized to have a university cellular telephone with a transition date of no later than July 1, 2006.

The CSU Mobile Communications Program is a culmination of a mutli-year effort, prompted by the administration's desire to enhance and simplify cellular service. Specific expected outcomes are:
