Currently, the graphical capabilities of WebSim are limited to scatter plots, histograms of density estimates, and histograms of sampling fraction. Histograms work for any number of density estimates, but are more meaningful as the number of replicates increases.
To create a scatter plot, run a simulation and wait for it to finish. Then click on File/Open Simulation Results or the open folder button on the toolbar. Then click the Sequence Plot Button on the bottom of the simulation results window.
Creating a histgram is much like creating a scatter plot. After the simulation is complete, click on File/Open Simulation Results. Then click the Histgram button at the bottom right of the simulations results window.
The density estimates are divided into 10 equal size bins for the histogram. The range of estimates is presented at the bottom of the histogram.
Creating the sampling fraction histogram is again much like the previous two graphs. After the simulation is complete, click of File/Open Simulation Results. Then click the "Plot fraction captured as distance increases" button. The bars indicate the fraction of the animals from the center to each ring captured during the sampling period. This is useful for checking the assumption that g(0) = 1.
