Current
Position:
Rick was science teacher from 1985-2001. In 1992 he began
inspecting seed potatoes for Potato Certification Service on a seasonal
basis. In the summer of 2001 Rick was hired on a full time basis for PCS and
has since been promoted to assistant manager. In addition to assisting the
manager, responsibilities include field, storage, and greenhouse inspections
during the potato growing and shipping season. Rick also assists in the
strawberry certification program.

Rick lives with his wife Peggy and two sons in the San Luis
Valley. Fishing, hiking, and camping are among their favorite activities.
