Gateway (Gaining Admission Through English):

Gateway is available to Intensive English Program students seeking undergraduate admission to Colorado State University. These students must have no previous university experience.

Students in the Gateway program do not need to take the TOEFL or IELTS. Instead, they receive college credit and learn English while earning admission to Colorado State University. Intensive English Program advisers provide academic advising and assistance to students enrolled in Gateway. This program is an excellent way for international students to gain undergraduate admission to Colorado State University.

Are you interested in Gateway?

1. Attend a Gateway Orientation session(sessions are scheduled in the fall, spring and summer at the IEP)

2. Complete a Gateway participation form.

3. Complete the Intensive English Program.

4. Complete 13 or more CSU credits with a grade point average of 2.5 or better. These courses may be taken while studying at the advanced levels in the Intensive English Program.

5. Complete a formal CSU application form when you have completed items 1 through 4 above.
