English for International Communication (EIC):

Note: EIC classes are only offered when there is sufficient demand.

EIC is designed for advanced level students who wish to improve their English, but who do not plan to attend an American university. Students must:

  • Successfully complete the Intermediate level of the Academic English Program.

  • Complete AD300, AD303, AD400, AD403 and two selected topics

  • Take three classes each seven-week term

 

One or more selected topics are offered each term. Some of the selected topics currently taught are:

  • AD 405 - Pronunciation

  • AD 410 - American Culture Through Film

  • AD 420 - Professional Communication

Students who successfully complete this track receive a Certificate of Completion for the Intensive English Program for International Communication track.
