Colorado Master Gardeners give instruction and advice to volunteers from the Governor's office.

Denvers Colorado Master Gardeners provided instruction on weeding, pruning, and planting to several groups of volunteers helping to renovate the rooftop Respite Garden at Childrens' Hospital in the summer of 1999.   Having been neglected since its inception, renovation efforts at the low water-use garden in 1999 were directed towards clean-up and weed removal. Annuals were planted to provide color. Bulbs were added in the fall of 1999 and work on perennials resumed in spring of 2000.
