New Dawn

New Dawn is a vigorous climbing rose with an upright habit and canes that can reach 16 to 20 feet. It can also be grown as a shrub.  Very hardy, this rose tolerates poor soil and partial shade. Large, shell-pink, loosely double blooms are produced repeatedly on both old and new wood, and have a sweet rose fragrance. Each bloom has about 40 petals. Foliage is a semi-glossy dark green and is disease resistant. Introduced in 1930.
