Golden Showers
Golden showers is a vigorous climbing rose, usually grown as a pillar, with stems that reach 6 to 10 feet ( to 12 to 15 feet in mild climates). Stems have few thorns and foliage is a dark, glossy green. This rose tolerates poor soil and partial shade. Blooms are double, golden yellow and fade to a lighter shade. They have a light, sweet fragrance and occur in clusters continually from summer until late fall. Colorful rose hips in fall. An AARS in 1956.Photo: Judy Sedbrook
