Access to information by all members of its learning community is implicit in Colorado State University's mission as a land grant institution of higher education. To this effect, university web resources should be deployed in a manner that ensures that all members of our community, including persons with disabilities, have access to university information. In the context of web site design, accessibility is a measure of how easy it is to access, read, and understand the content of a web site.
The CSU Web Access Standards demonstrate the easy steps you can take to help make sure your website can reach all people, including those with disabilities. Following the CSU Standards should also increase web page usability for all users and for all types of technologies.
