| Brief Job Description |
This position offers the opportunity to design and develop college curricula. Duties range from researching sources and writing college-level textbooks to proofreading and copyediting. In addition, you will determine essential curriculum content components, conduct reviews of curriculum, and work with industry experts to design effective distance-learning curriculum. Additional duties will be assigned as needed. Interns work an average of 20-30 hours per week and must work well independently. Applicants must be in their junior or senior year and have writing and editing experience. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt technical material to a specified audience. Candidates must be a team player, enthusiastic, and dependable. Upon successful completion of the internship, the intern will earn academic credit per CSUs requirements, receive a personalized letter of recommendation, and have the potential opportunity for future positions with the company.
