Brief Job Description Project Vote Smart is a non-partisan effort to provide factual information on 40,000 candidates and elected officials. Track public officials, candidates, elections nationwide, compile special interest group ratings, collect candidate issue positions, and build media relations and partnerships. Students will live at the Project's Great Divide Ranch in Philipsburg, Montana during the ten week internship; scholarships pay for the students' housing and meals during the internship. Positions available: National Political Awareness Test Assistant, Research and Hotline Assistant, News Assistant, Membership Assistant, Information Technology Assistant, Facilities and Recreation Assistant, Lodge Assistant. We see students who are genuinely interested in working to accomplish our goal of making factual, unbiased political information easily and freely accessible to all all.
Additional Information, Application Procedure

To qualify for a PVS internship, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Set aside personal and political beliefs, be objective and non-partisan while working.
2. Be in good standing with your university/school.
3. Commit to 10 consecutive weeks.
4. Remember that our research facility is located in an extraordinarily beautiful but remote area. You will be expected to help maintain the facility.
