Position:	Writing Intern

Brief Job Description	The writing intern will be responsible for working with the Director of Communications to identify alumni and/or campus programs to write about for one of three publications: CSUAA Web site, AlumLine (e-newsletter), Around the Oval (print magazine).
Additional Information, Application Procedure	The intern will Conduct interview(s) Write a draft of article Work with Director on editing of article Revise article according to changes from Director or interviewee Confirm article correctness with interviewee Acquire photographs for article Objectives and Activities Communication – oral skills in interviewing (types of questions to ask and how to probe for deeper answers); writing skills (stylistic for Web and print, story development); editing skills (of self and other writers) Clarifying ideas Other Information: Graphic design or photography experience a plus.
