The Department of Journalism and Technical Communication hires part-time Special Research Associates/Scientists from an applicant pool. Special Research Associates/Scientists may be hired to administer projects; review literature; identify funding sources; enter data; recruit test participants; keep research records; conduct surveys, focus groups, and nominal group technique sessions; analyze data; write, edit, and produce proposals, reports, articles, publications, online documentation, and presentations; supervise graduate research assistants and undergraduate assistants.
Requirements: All course work completed for a MA/MS or Ph.D. in communication or closely related field.
