Starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience, not to exceed $58,000.
Requirements: Completed bachelorís degree required prior to beginning the position. A masterís preferred in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or a closely related field. A successful candidate without a completed masterís will be required to complete a masterís degree relevant to their Extension position within 5 years from the start of employment. Failure to do so may result in termination.
Purpose of the Position: To supervise EFNEP and SNAP-Ed paraprofessional nutrition educators by providing guidance, support, training and performance management to ensure effective program delivery to the target audience and to ensure program outcomes are met.
Responsibilities and Relationships: The individual in this position will be an employee of Colorado State University Extension and work as a member of the EFNEP and SNAP-Ed Leadership Team. The EFNEP and SNAP-Ed State Office teamís role is to provide statewide program consistency by ensuring the NPS Agents and the paraprofessional educators are properly trained and prepared to work toward the objectives of the CSUE EFNEP and SNAP-Ed programs, comply with CSU, CSUE and EFNEP and SNAP-Ed program policies and procedures, and that program impacts are reached.
