Title: Coordinator – Online Marketing Coordinator

Requirements: The Online Marketing Coordinator is charged with assisting the marketing team in conducting, analyzing, and optimizing Colorado State University OnlinePlus’ online marketing efforts to promote high-quality, flexible educational opportunities for working professionals. This position helps coordinate paid search efforts, email campaigns, organizational SEO implementation, and website updates – all aimed at building awareness and generating inquiries. Duties include, but are not limited to, day-to-day management of paid search campaigns, building HTML emails, keyword research and placement for web and blog content, posting blog content, creating and optimizing landing pages, and analyzing and creating results-based marketing reports.

The successful candidate will:
• Have broad experience executing online marketing strategies across a variety of mediums
• Be responsible for day-to-day management of paid search campaigns, including keyword generation, ad copy writing, and manual bid placement
• Understand SEO strategies, including keyword generation, placement, and landing page creation
• Have HTML skills that would allow them to work within email and landing page templates

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited university
• Minimum two (2) years experience executing online marketing activities as a member of a marketing, web, or communications team
• Proven experience in day-to-day management of PPC campaigns
• Up-to-date HTML skills and basic knowledge of Dreamweaver
• Basic knowledge of CMS and site publishing processes/systems
• Ability to run web and email campaign analysis through analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in organizing data for analysis, charting and trend analysis
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks and projects from start to finish with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to run in-depth campaign analysis through analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and to make recommendations to improve goal conversions
• Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn
• Experience working within Microsoft Access
• Basic Photoshop skills
• Demonstrated ability to post blogs through Wordpress
• Experience in higher education marketing focused on attracting online and adult students
