Job description of the Project Manager position:
Under the direction of the Director, the Project Manager is responsible for leading and organizing cross-functional teams to support cGMP campaign activities. The project manager is required to build the basic infrastructure of each project’s work plan (in collaboration with team leaders) and manage the teams to successfully complete tasks on-time. Must be able to show proficiency in a wide range of project management skills, including maintenance of complex schedules and timelines, efficient contractual change control management, cross-team leadership, risk mitigation, client communications, etc. Keeps the Director informed of the status of the project deliverables and schedules.
Additional responsibilities include financial management of contracts. Candidates will be expected to: manage pricing models and billing procedures; accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization; assure project legal documents are completed and signed; manage project budget; determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project; follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices; analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Requires a bachelor's degree with advanced degree (PhD, MS, and/or MBA) preferred and >4 years of full-time experience in the field or in a related area.

The job title categories within this pool are for positions (when available) that are within a range of 0.5-1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) effort (i.e., 50-100% work effort). Hiring into a particular position at a specific FTE effort is based on the availability of task-specific funds and one’s skill set. Please note that this FTE effort and your salary will be very clearly communicated to you prior to hiring.
