The Office of University Advancement Development at Colorado State University System seeks a full-time Donor Relations Coordinator to serve the areas of Corporate and Foundation Relations as well as assists with UAD and campaign operations on routine and special projects.
Responsibilities and Duties: • University Advancement Development (50%) o Coordinate and prepare meeting presentations (PowerPoint, Prezi), briefings and reports for internal and external meetings; including quarterly division meetings, bi-monthly UAD team meetings. o Extract data from Advance and compile materials for monthly strategy meetings. o Participate in strategy setting for prospects. • Administrative o Extract data from Advance and compile weekly and monthly reports for management meetings, the Denver Initiative, provost reviews, etc .(include such things as dollars raised, DI information, pipeline details, proposals, individual effort, etc.). o Pull numbers weekly for review by the Director of Corporate Relations and the Director of Foundation Relations (dollars raised, pipeline and effort reports, etc.). o Update and maintain integrity of data (pipelines, proposals, contact reports, etc.). o Handle general copying, scanning of documents for electronic record keeping, routing and tracking of documents for signatures (internal travel, CSU Foundation forms, etc.), shredding, and filing. o Coordinate trips for the AVP. Assist with appointment setting and arranging all meeting and travel details. Put together an accompanying trip binder and other related materials/gifts. o Relieve the AVP of various administrative details; coordinate internal office needs.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University is seeking a Finance Coordinator which provides professional, comprehensive guidance in developing and executing fiscal strategies, utilizing sound cost based accounting principles, policies and procedures in support of the overall strategic missions of CSU, CVMBS, and VTH. Specifically this involves cost accounting and fiscal management oversight; supervision, guidance and training on fiscal operations and policies; oversight of inventory management system; database mining and validation for financial and operational data; and oversight of Kuali purchasing, accounts payable and financial document approvals. This requires knowledge of revenue recognition principles, university and state fiscal rules, donor intentions and other rules and regulations as applicable.
Financial Oversight • Apply professional interpretations of accounting policies, rules and regulations to ascertain a range of appropriate internal controls, working in partnership with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Business and Finance Manager. • Provide oversight of fee estimates, deposits and collections activities to ensure compliance and fiscal responsibility. • Determine appropriateness and allow ability of purchasing, accounts payable and financial documents in the Kuali financial system and make necessary approvals or denials. Provide direction and insight on policies and regulations which may apply. • Provide oversight of inventory management system and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and university policies. Manage the year-end internal audit process. • Review financial reports for accuracy. • Coordinate cost analysis projects with the various cost centers within the hospital by providing guidance for the collection of data and then developing accurate cost analysis reports for review by management. • Gather data from e-thority database, validate correctness, and provide reports as requested from management, section heads and staff. Develop additional reports to assist the Director and the Business and Finance Manager with decision making. • Assist the Business and Finance Manager in the analysis of financial data to track trends. • Initiate and manage the capital equipment request process. • Prepare Kuali documents for month-end and year-end processes, including Cost of Goods Sold entry, revenue transfers, accounts receivable and sales tax.
Supervision • Supervise the Accounting Technician II who is responsible for account reconciliation, financial reporting, travel, p-card reallocation, cell phones and reception backup duties.
