There are several levels of appointment. Level I is for individuals generally within three years of receiving their Ph.D. and with limited scientific research experience. Level III is analogous to the Associate Professor title for regular faculty. It generally includes individuals well beyond the Ph.D. that have demonstrated outstanding, sustained, and extraordinary professional accomplishments as well as professional leadership.
Ranking and qualifications within the levels are done on a case-by-case basis with factors that include the publication record, past research funding, professional honors and awards, decisive discoveries, and management experience. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding

Job description of the Project Manager position:

Under the direction of the Director, the Project Manager is responsible for leading and organizing cross-functional teams to support cGMP campaign activities. The project manager is required to build the basic infrastructure of each project’s work plan (in collaboration with team leaders) and manage the teams to successfully complete tasks on-time. Must be able to show proficiency in a wide range of project management skills, including maintenance of complex schedules and timelines, efficient contractual change control management, cross-team leadership, risk mitigation, client communications, etc. Keeps the Director informed of the status of the project deliverables and schedules.

Additional responsibilities include financial management of contracts. Candidates will be expected to: manage pricing models and billing procedures; accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization; assure project legal documents are completed and signed; manage project budget; determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project; follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices; analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Requires a bachelor's degree with advanced degree (PhD, MS, and/or MBA) preferred and >4 years of full-time experience in the field or in a related area.

Employment Type:
The job title categories within this pool are for positions (when available) that are within a range of 0.5-1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) effort (i.e., 50-100% work effort). Hiring into a particular position at a specific FTE effort is based on the availability of task-specific funds and one’s skill set. Requirements: The Mycobacteria Research Laboratories (MRL) at Colorado State University are seeking postdoctoral fellows to conduct research on mycobacterial diseases and pathogens. Expertise in molecular biology, protein, lipid and carbohydrate biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, enzymology, metabolomics, genomics, animal models of disease, immunology and/or cell biology is desirable. The Mycobacteria Research Laboratories at Colorado State University provides an unique opportunity to conduct basic and translational scientific research on mycobacterial diseases. Currently, there are twenty laboratory groups that conduct mycobacterial research on a wide spectrum of topics including mycobacterial physiology and pathogenesis, tuberculosis vaccine and drug development, leprosy and tuberculosis diagnostics, the study of nontuberculous mycobacterial diseases and Buruli ulcer, and the epidemiology and diagnostics of mycobacterial diseases affecting animals including bovine tuberculosis and Johne’s disease.

Our goal is to provide an interactive scientific environment for collaborative research on mycobacterial diseases and to facilitate advanced training of junior scientists and students.

Requirements: Departments in the College of Business may hire temporary faculty from an applicant pool from time to time.

Required Qualifications: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, JD) in a field closely related to the course requirements. An exception may be made for the advanced degree requirement if the applicant has a significant record of managerial or professional experience relevant to the course assigned

Preferred Qualifications: Previous University teaching experience in a college of business in relevant subject areas, substantial business experience in relevant subject areas, and experience with multi-media teaching techniques.

Instructors may be hired for fall, spring and/or summer term in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are normally made during the late spring and throughout the summer for fall semester, during fall semester for spring semester, and during spring semester for the summer term.

This pool is valid through May 31, 2014, at which time all applicants wishing to remain in the pool must reapply.

Requirements: Section Coordinators for the College of Business Distance Graduate Programs are hired from a temporary applicant pool.

Required qualifications: MBA or MSBA degree or equivalent from a school of business accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International) or equivalent, or earned Master’s, JD degree, or PhD or PhD candidate in a relevant field of study and minimum of five years of full-time professional experience with a demonstrated progression in responsibility and authority.

Preferred qualifications: Graduate of Colorado State University MBA or MSBA program and previous teaching experience in a multi-media environment.

Section Coordinators facilitate and monitor the activity of online students enrolled in the MBA or MSBA, clarify course material, support lead faculty and grade student submissions. Section Coordinators may be hired for fall, spring and/or summer session in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the year.
