RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will manage Clean Water Act programs within the context of the Air Force Environmental Management System (EMS) and as implemented by the states and local jurisdictions. He or she will use independent judgment, observations and field reports to review and provide recommendations for updates to Clean Water Act plans (e.g., Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans). The successful candidate will also review and validate concept designs, scopes of work, and other documents related to stormwater hydrology and permitting. He or she will provide technical assistance in management of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment and disposal to include toxic chemicals to ensure environmental compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must demonstrate U.S. employment eligibility. CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have a B.S. degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline and six years of experience supporting water quality compliance programs. The successful candidate must have knowledge of and experience implementing Clean Water Act programs and water quality regulations. He or she must be able to pass the DoD background check for an AF Common Access Card (CAC). The applicant must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
A Master’s degree in a related field is beneficial. Desired qualifications include experience working in a highly structured organization and knowledge of Air Force Instructions, directives, guidance, and environmental regulations and processes. Experience conducting compliance inspections and environmental audits is preferred. Experience with the Air Force Enterprise Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Information Systems (EESOH-MIS) or other compliance tracking programs is a plus. Familiarity with stormwater modeling and stormwater permits is helpful.

The federal government and DoD require personnel who access their installations, buildings, and computer systems to have, at a minimum, a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NAC-I). Because the work of this position is physically located at a government/military site, the successful candidate will have a NAC-I performed. Candidates with existing NAC-I are preferred, as an existing NAC-I will quickly qualify the successful candidate to “process-in” for work at a government facility, work on a computer, gain the required access to designated government buildings, and obtain a CAC.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must be able to walk over uneven terrain in inclement weather. The position also requires bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

SALARY
Continuation of the position is dependent on the receipt of funding from the sponsor for clean water program support efforts at Patrick AFB.

• Serve as the College liaison for Human Resources, Financial Systems, Auditors, Purchasing, Sponsored Programs, and Worker’s Compensation.
• Monitor College compliance with related policies and procedures and evaluate/establish internal control policies as needed and review College and Department balances.
• Represent the College at CAAG and other University meetings; Serve on College Charges for Technology committee; with IT Director, reviews all CFT requests for compliance with University policy.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing industrial hygiene assistance to a variety of small businesses in Colorado as stipulated by contract with the United States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Duties include: Evaluating and implementing comprehensive Health and Safety Programs; conducting hazard audits; assisting small business clients with understanding and complying with industrial hygiene standards and regulations; evaluating and recommending hazard control methods; and, designing and delivering a variety of training programs for employers and employees.

Requirements: A Storage Tanks and Hazardous Waste Specialist (Research Associate II Special) position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position is located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate will provide environmental compliance technical expertise to review, analyze and validate processes, data, reports and other documents related to underground storage tank and aboveground storage tank management. The associate will also support the Air Force in managing Initial Accumulation Points and waste stream inventories. The associate will ensure hazardous waste storage areas comply with applicable DoD, Air Force, and local regulations. He or she will troubleshoot compliance issues where applicable and will use independent judgment and insight to prepare recommendations and proposals to optimize performance and improve storage tank and hazardous waste compliance programs and influence installation decisions. The associate will develop and input analysis data into electronic spreadsheet and/or databases and will provide input to Environmental Management Systems updates.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
The successful candidate must be able to walk over uneven terrain in inclement weather. The position will also require bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must demonstrate U.S. employment eligibility; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have a B.S. degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline and three years of experience supporting storage tank compliance programs. The successful candidate must have knowledge of and experience with regulations governing hazardous waste management. Previous experience conducting environmental compliance audits and inspections is required. He or she must be able to pass the DoD background check for an AF Common Access Card (CAC). The applicant must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
A Master’s degree in a related field is desired. Preferred qualifications include experience working in a highly structured organization and knowledge of military instructions, directives, guidance, and environmental regulations and processes. Experience with compliance tracking programs is a plus, especially Air Force databases such as eDASH and ESOH-MIS.

The federal government and DoD require personnel who access their installations, buildings, and computer systems to have, at a minimum, a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NAC-I). Because the work of this position is physically located at a government/military site, the successful candidate will have a NAC-I performed. Candidates with existing NAC-I are preferred, as an existing NAC-I will quickly qualify the successful candidate to “process-in” for work at a government facility, work on a computer, gain the required access to designated government buildings, and obtain a CAC.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at Colorado State University (CSU) seeks to fill a flexible after hours position for the Anesthesia service. The individual in this position will be dedicated to providing after hours/ weekend anesthesia coverage. The primary responsibility is to cover anesthesia for emergency procedures in all species presented to Colorado State University, Veterinary Medical Center. Yearly coverage for afterhours/on call anesthesia will be shared by this posted position, current on call employee and the anesthesia resident. With majority of yearly responsibility and weekly/weekend hours will be shared between this position and our current on-call employee. Holiday coverage will be expected and equally divided between all on-call individuals. This individual will also be responsible for covering any swing shift hours (starting at 4:30 pm weekdays) during their scheduled night of on-call. The ability of the applicant to vary their schedule is essential to their success in this position.

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Physical presence may be required and/or on call beginning at 4:30 pm on weeknights to oversee cases/recovery of patients transitioned from anesthesia swing shift.
o Providing and supervising students in administering appropriate support and monitoring of patients who are still anesthetized at 4:30 pm in both large and small animal anesthesia areas.
o Transitioning and supervising students in transitioning the care of these patients to the appropriate services or the Critical Care Unit.
o Guiding students and clinicians in the selection of appropriate post-operative analgesic drugs or techniques.
• Emergency Coverage
o Be available (by PTT or cellular telephone) and within 20 minutes of the hospital at all times when on duty to provide emergency anesthesia coverage
o Perform and assist the student in performing a thorough and expedient patient evaluation including obtaining the patient history, performing a physical examination, and assessing laboratory finding.
o Select and guide the student in selecting an appropriate anesthetic and analgesic protocol.
o Select and guide the student in selecting appropriate monitoring equipment for the patient.
o Select and guide the student in selecting an appropriate supportive care plan for patient care.
o Be able to provide and guide the student in providing appropriate technical support to meet the objectives stated in above bullets

o Ensuring the equipment and area is appropriately cleaned and secured at the conclusion of the final case

Education/ Work Experience:

• Completes electronic medical record documentation on time
• Evaluates and institutes emergency hospitalization procedures of patients in crisis for their safely and stabilization
• Refers patients to community psychiatric practitioners or clinics as necessary
• Serves as physician mentor for one or more psychiatric nurse practitioners at CSU Health Network
• Works with psychiatric nurses for care coordination, medication refills and/or drug assistance program
• Consults with and advises the Counseling Services and medical care providers at the CSU Health Network regarding patients with special problems in accordance with established guidelines
• Collaborates with other CSU entities that impact student care as well as other community healthcare professionals
• Participates in required meetings and educational activities. Active involvement in presenting relevant topics is encouraged. Participates on appropriate CSU Health Network and University committees.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:
• Eligibility to obtain or a possession of a current Colorado physician license
• Board certification or board eligible in psychiatry
• A current DEA number
• Demonstrated experience with electronic medical records and computer use

Preferred:
• At least one year of clinical experience is highly desirable
• Experience working as a psychiatrist with a college age population is highly desirable
