Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with academic or scholarly credentials in composition theory and pedagogy or rhetoric.

Duties:
• The position is full time (4/4 load) with one course release each semester for administrative work.
o The Composition Administration assignment entails the training and supervision of graduate teaching assistants in CO150, College Composition
 This role includes co-coordinating intensive, week-long orientation program before fall semester; holding weekly in-service workshops; observing classes of and holding conferences about grading with new GTAs; maintaining records about and evaluating GTA teaching performance; and collaborating to update/revise common CO150 syllabus and course materials.
• Successful applicants will be expected to meet departmental objectives for the courses CO150 (College Composition), CO300 (Writing Arguments), or CO301 (Writing in the Disciplines). The availability of other courses is based on department need and the instructor’s background.

Salary: This position is a special assignment. Annual reappointment depends on performance and the continued availability of funding. The term of this assignment is customarily three years. The salary for the position will be the successful applicant’s 2012-13 100% salary, plus any increase from a salary exercise (if the University has one), plus an administrative stipend of $2500 per academic year.

General Information: The English department at CSU has a tenure-track faculty of 35, approximately 500 undergraduate majors, and more than 140 graduate students. The University Composition Program houses five programs which serve the University at large: the First-Year Composition Program (FYC), the Upper-Division Composition Program (UDC), the University Writing Center, the gtPathways Writing Program (GTP), and the Composition Placement Program. Each of these programs is unified by our faculty commitment to teaching writing as a rhetorical act of inquiry and learning, ensuring that our programs are consistent with national standards for best practice, and maintaining a clear and reliable understanding of CSU’s students’ writing backgrounds and needs. The department appoints more than 35 graduate teaching assistants who teach creative and expository writing and English as a second language. Undergraduate concentrations in creative writing, English education, language, literature, and writing lead to a B.A. in English. Master of Arts degrees are offered in creative nonfiction, English education, literature, rhetoric and composition, and TESL/TEFL. A Master of Fine Arts is offered in creative writing. Requirements: This position is responsible for application and database design, development and integration dedicated to assisting with the operation and advancement of CSU OnlinePlus goals. This position will work with staff across the organization to support business requirements, develop new applications and interfaces, enhance features and reporting capabilities, and ensure applications perform as expected. Application and Database Developer Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation, integration, and advancement of applications and services such as customer relationship management (CRM), Blackboard, centralized reporting, and internal information systems.

• Creation, enhancement, and support of reports, stored procedures, views, tables, and jobs and the applications that use them

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years professional experience in the following:
• Development of advanced SQL and T-SQL statements, stored procedures, and queries to support data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Development and administration of SQL Server environment; 2005 or higher.

Job description of the Project Manager position:

Under the direction of the Director, the Project Manager is responsible for leading and organizing cross-functional teams to support cGMP campaign activities. The project manager is required to build the basic infrastructure of each project’s work plan (in collaboration with team leaders) and manage the teams to successfully complete tasks on-time. Must be able to show proficiency in a wide range of project management skills, including maintenance of complex schedules and timelines, efficient contractual change control management, cross-team leadership, risk mitigation, client communications, etc. Keeps the Director informed of the status of the project deliverables and schedules.

Additional responsibilities include financial management of contracts. Candidates will be expected to: manage pricing models and billing procedures; accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization; assure project legal documents are completed and signed; manage project budget; determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project; follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices; analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Requires a bachelor's degree with advanced degree (PhD, MS, and/or MBA) preferred and >4 years of full-time experience in the field or in a related area.

Employment Type:
The job title categories within this pool are for positions (when available) that are within a range of 0.5-1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) effort (i.e., 50-100% work effort). Requirements: The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University is soliciting applications for a post-doctoral fellow in the field of air pollution epidemiology. This position will support an interdisciplinary project funded by NIH investigating commuter’s exposures and the health effects of traffic-related air pollution. Research will occur under direct supervision of Professor Jennifer Peel and close collaboration with Professors John Volckens (Colorado State University) and Amy Stuart (University of South Florida). The fellow’s research will involve subject recruitment, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and results dissemination for an ongoing study examining acute, subclinical cardiovascular and respiratory health effects of commuting routes, modes (car, bike), and traffic-related exposures.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in epidemiology or closely-related field with experience in air pollution and human health research. Preference will be given to candidates that have strong data management and analysis skills (including experience with primary data collection, panel studies, and repeated measures designs), experience conducting personal air pollution measurements, experience in GIS, experience conducting subclinical health measurements (including blood pressure, blood draws, pulse wave analysis, exhaled nitric oxide), demonstrated communication skills (written and oral), organizational and time management skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
The position is full-time with a multi-year duration, contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding. The Mycobacteria Research Laboratories at Colorado State University provides an unique opportunity to conduct basic and translational scientific research on mycobacterial diseases. Currently, there are twenty laboratory groups that conduct mycobacterial research on a wide spectrum of topics including mycobacterial physiology and pathogenesis, tuberculosis vaccine and drug development, leprosy and tuberculosis diagnostics, the study of nontuberculous mycobacterial diseases and Buruli ulcer, and the epidemiology and diagnostics of mycobacterial diseases affecting animals including bovine tuberculosis and Johne’s disease.

Our goal is to provide an interactive scientific environment for collaborative research on mycobacterial diseases and to facilitate advanced training of junior scientists and students.
