Research Associate I or II in the Laboratory of Dr. John Belisle, Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology
An individual is sought for a Research Associate I or II position to support the research activities of the laboratory of Dr. Belisle in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology. The individual that fills this position will participate in day to day operation, making appropriate reagents as needed, preparation of samples for mass spectrometry, operation of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments and record keeping.
The individual filling this position must have a BS degree applicable to the field of chemistry or biomedical sciences; have written communication skills that are able to support the writing and editing of scientific documents. Experience with analytical instrumentation such as mass spectrometry; HPLC; experience with software to analyze scientific data, and the ability to work with minimal supervision is desirable.
