Research Associate positions are available in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology in the area of infectious disease research. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or a closely related field. Candidates with knowledge and experience in one or more of the following fields are preferred: bacteriology, virology, parasitology, pathology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, prion biology or vector biology. A minimum of one-year work experiences is also preferred. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Reflecting departmental and institutional values, candidates are expected to have the ability to advance the Department's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The successful candidate must demonstrate U.S. employment eligibility at time of application; CSU will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
