Requirements: The MIP Department at Colorado State University is seeking postdoctoral fellows to conduct research on the mechanisms of infection and transmission of chronic wasting disease (CWD), a prion disease of deer and elk. Expertise in molecular biology, protein chemistry, and/or cell biology is desirable. Abilities to conduct independent and collaborative research, develop and adapt laboratory methodologies, participate in grant and scientific writing, or to assist in supervision and training students and research associates are required. Ability to work in a collaborative team perspective is essential. Minimum requirement: PhD or equivalent degree desirable. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. The pool will expire May 1, 2014. Individuals wishing to be considered beyond that date must reapply.
