The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University is offering a one-year Specialty Internship in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care. The Emergency and Critical Care Intern will have clinical and teaching responsibilities within the Small Animal Emergency, Urgent Care and Critical Care Services. The 12-month appointment will consist of a fifty (50) week clinical assignment with two (2) weeks paid vacation. Position must be available for swing shift, overnights and weekends. Some “out” rotations will be available. Direct mentorship will be provided by a total of four ACVECC diplomats as well as two residency-trained ECC clinicians. Position will report to the Small Animal Chief of Staff.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and successful completion of a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship.
