Colorado State University (CSU) seeks applications and nominations for two (2) Purchasing Agent positions reporting to the Supervising Purchasing Agent and Director within Procurement Services.
General Duties and Responsibilities This position will engage in all aspects of the purchasing process including, but not limited to: • Negotiating and managing contracts • Developing bid specifications and requirements and preparing solicitations • Managing vendor relationships • Developing excellent working relationships with customers • Advancing the department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. • Advising management with regard to proposed procurement initiatives and processes. • Participate in campus committees and project teams as needed. • Protect the interests of CSU as prescribed within the University’s approved policies, procedures and governmental laws and regulations. • Promote and maintain the University’s moral and ethical standards.
