The CSU Health Network at Colorado State University is recruiting for a Coding Subject Matter Expert and Compliance Specialist to provide advisory and consultative direction for coding and billing compliance, data integrity, training programs, and comprehensive coding strategy and processes. It involves serving as advisor and consultant to providers, performing clinical coding, developing coding strategy, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper utilization and assignment of coding, designing and executing training programs, development of coding tools, coding and revenue compliance, systems analysis and testing, billing and reimbursement evaluation, project leadership. This position will work closely with internal departments, including providers, leadership, IT, ancillary staff, and billing staff; with external departments, including insurance companies and regulatory bodies. Candidates are expected to have the ability to advance the department's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
