Salary: Salary based on experience and project funding. The salary will be prorated based on the project duration and responsibilities.
Requirements: The Library hires Part-Time Research Scientists from an applicant pool. Part-Time Research Scientists may be hired to administer projects, review literature, identify funding sources, enter data, recruit test participants, keep research records; conduct surveys, focus groups and nominal group technique sessions; analyze data; write, edit and produce proposals, reports, articles, publications, online documentation and presentations; supervise graduate research assistants and undergraduate assistants.

Requirements: Ph.D. required with emphasis on empirical social science research methodologies and techniques in such fields as communication science, education, psychology, or sociology.
