The Office of Admissions at Colorado State University seeks a Business Officer who will serve as the primary fiscal/budget manager for the Office of Admissions. Applicants who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of administrative-level university budgeting experience • Two years of professional budgeting experience • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and Windows, including using spreadsheets • Demonstrated experience working with data, including conducting data queries and performing analyses • Demonstrated experience with human resource systems
Desired Qualifications • B.S. degree in Business Administration or related field • 3+ years of administrative-level university budgeting experience • Demonstrated experience with Kuali, including business, financial, and budgeting functions • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting systems such as: Vista Reports, eThority, ODS, and Access • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to exercise initiative • Demonstrated experience maintaining employees’ information within Oracle such as entering leave balances, updating payroll information, and any other HR related tasks • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to working with Human Resources and the Office of Equal Opportunity • Knowledge of University and State financial policies
