The Office of Admissions at Colorado State University seeks a Sr. Associate Director of Operations. Applicants who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree Seven (7) years of progressive and increasing responsibility in higher education enrollment services or related field Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role (hiring, training and managing full-time and/or temporary staff and/or student employees) with evidence of strong leadership and motivational skills Demonstrated experience and comfort working with a variety of computer software applications, databases, internet and student information systems Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience making presentations to varied audiences and creating reports and documentation Demonstrated ability to multi-task within a fast-paced work environment including the ability to manage uneven workflow patterns, deadlines, and changing priorities Experience with admissions operations and application processing
Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in education, counseling, higher education administration, or a related field Experience with Ellucian and BDMS xtender, or other student information systems Experience with Technolutions Slate, Common App, and/or other third-party vendors/partnerships such as CollegeNet, etc. Experience with holistic application review and admission decisions Experience working in paperless admissions environments Experience implementing or assisting with the implementation of an integrated student information system Experience with international and/or graduate admissions or other special populations Demonstrated experience in customer-service and/or counseling environments Experience working on a campus of 15,000+ students Demonstrated involvement in state-level higher education policy development Experience supporting and/or implementing a new initiative (policy, technology, procedure, etc.) including the role of helping staff through a significant change process Familiarity with NCAA initial eligibility standards Personal or professional commitment to diversity as demonstrated by persistent effort, active planning, allocation of resources and/or accountability for diversity outcome.
