Colorado State University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer
Title: Instructors - Open Pool
Employment Type: Academic Faculty
College: Provost's Office
Department: University Honors Program
Salary: The target salary is approximately $4,800 per 3-credit seminar section.
Requirements: The University Honors Program is establishing an applicant pool for Temporary Part-Time Instructors for openings in the spring 2013 and fall 2013 semesters. Honors instructors teach interdisciplinary Honors seminars as part of the Honors core curriculum.

The University Honors Program offers its instructors a wonderful opportunity to teach an interdisciplinary Honors seminar on a topic of their choice. Teaching an Honors seminar can be a most rewarding experience because of the excellent students, small classes, and interdisciplinary seminar format. Honors students have impressive records of academic achievement and are intellectually curious and highly motivated. The Honors seminar sections range between 19 and 22 students and the small class size creates an optimal learning environment for students and faculty alike.

Each Honors seminar integrates several All-University Core Curriculum requirements such as Written Communication, Historical Perspectives, Arts/Humanities, Social/Behavioral Sciences, and Global and Cultural Awareness. For descriptions of typical seminars, please visit the Academics page of our website, http://www.honors.colostate.edu.

A Ph.D. or other terminal degree and evidence of excellence in teaching are required. Experience in teaching interdisciplinary seminars and/or Honors seminars, is preferred. The target salary is approximately $4,800 per 3-credit seminar section.
Application Deadline: 12-31-2013
To Apply: For full consideration for the spring 2013 semester, please send your Curriculum Vitae and names and contact information of at least three potential references before November 15, 2012 via email to:
