The Department of Economics occasionally hires part-time and full-time research associates, as projects become available. Projects most often involve environmental and resource economics, and/or regional economics, and one or more of the following types of work: data collection, management and analysis; survey work; mathematical and econometric modeling; report writing and article co-authorship; oral presentations; communication with stakeholders. Master’s degree in economics or other relevant field preferred; specific additional qualification requirements will depend on the nature of each project. For most projects, a minimum 1-year commitment is desired.
