Instructors are hired to teach EDUC 465 Methods and Materials in Social Studies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: M.A. in History, minimum of 20 additional transcripted credit hours in social science and/or education coursework; minimum of seven years of teaching experience at the high school and/or middle school level; evidence of activity and/or employment in teaching at the high school and/or middle school level within the past three years; evidence of professional development leadership, including working with young adult learners and/or teaching teachers; availability to offer EDUC 465 in light of scheduling needs of students in social studies teaching licensure program at Colorado State University
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: experience teaching in at least two of the following disciplines: History, Government/Civics, Geography, Economics
