$5,000 to $6,000 per course commensurate with experience
The Mechanical Engineering Department hires temporary, part-time faculty from an applicant pool to teach Mechanics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Aerospace, Design, or other mechanical engineering courses as needed.
Experience and Skills: Required: • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or closely-related field
• Previous teaching experience in an engineering discipline in a higher education setting
Instructors may be hired for a fall, spring and/or summer semester in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Instructors must be willing to work evening and weekends as necessary.

Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled; however, to be considered for early hiring decisions, spring semester or full-academic year appointments, please submit an application by December 16, 2013.
Applications received after December 16, 2013, may be reviewed if additional positions become available. Hiring decisions will be made prior to the start of the semester the course is offered.
This pool is valid through June 30, 2014, at which time all applicants wishing to remain in the pool must reapply.
