The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Colorado State University invites applications for a nine-month special appointment faculty position (non-tenured, with benefits). Candidates must hold a minimum of a masterís degree in business or a related field and have demonstrated excellence in teaching marketing classes. The normal teaching load for this position is four sections per semester to be determined by the department chair. Although this is a non-tenure track position, the Department hopes to attract a candidate who wishes to make a long-term commitment. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience. The start date will be August 2014 or as soon thereafter as possible.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following characteristics: (1) a Ph.D. or DBA in business or a related field, (2) topical breadth of teaching expertise in business customer relationships, professional selling, sales management; (3) relevant professional experience; (4) ability to contribute to a collegial atmosphere in the Department and the College; (5) proven ability to contribute to departmental service related to improving student learning in professional selling and sales management, (6) ability to meet and maintain AACSB academic qualification criteria; and (7) experience with on-campus instruction at a major university.
