The Manager of Recruitment, Strategic Business and Partnership Development, primarily is responsible for developing and leading integrated marketing and recruitment campaigns for MBA Programs in the College of Business. This position is designed to support the sales and media communications efforts on behalf of the Programs with a focus on direct marketing, recruiting to enhance enrollments and building the CSU MBA brand. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Recruiting for MBA Programs.
This individual will provide high level support on all outbound marketing campaigns, will work closely with the Ambassador Team members, and help additional relationships with other external stakeholders groups such as Program alumni, corporate partners and educational aggregators such as EdAssist. A cornerstone to these efforts will be to help develop and implement student lead conversion projects and marketing communications via our CRM system. Duties and Responsibilities • Explore, design, develop, and implement new student acquisition opportunities that serve the needs and interests of the College of Business. • Assist Admissions Counselors and the Admissions Manager with arranging and coordinating student campus visits and student prospect information sessions. • Coordinate and maintain the delivery of existing special programs (MBA Ambassadors). • Be the focal point of contact for existing special programs (MBA Ambassadors). • Help identify new business and revenue plans for existing programs as well as proposals for new programs and existing initiatives. • Keep firmly abreast of emerging trends and best practices in higher education recruiting, and bring forward recommendations that support the department's evolution into a best-in-class graduate programs. • Responsible for growing the programs in line with the strategic plan, multi-year plan, by responding to the needs of the College of Business and the business partners. • In collaboration with marketing and recruitment staff, support the development of annual marketing plans by identifying opportunities for more effective affinity promotion and managing individual program direction with business partners. • Regularly produce reports demonstrating the performance of the recruiting efforts and provide recommendations on necessary program adjustments, including marketing efforts, sales approach and/or partnership adjustments. • Help identify qualified candidate pipelines and applicant pools from both internal and external data sources. • Recruits prospective students and provides essential information related to admissions requirements and enrollment processes. • Provides feedback to candidates and applicants to ensure they understand application, admission and enrollments processes and procedures. • Proactively search, review and screen qualified active and passive candidates and keep careful records of contact through our CRM system. Additionally, mine this and other available databases for student prospects based on successful student recruiting profiles. • Participate in recruiting planning, process development and CRM data management.
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education or related field. • Minimum of 5 years managing business development or sales or recruitment. • Proven lead-nurturing project management acumen. • Evidence of proficiency with PC technology and current web traffic and business analytics practices. • Able to utilize data mining techniques of internally sourced data and externally sourced or 3rd party data ( Salesforce, data.com, ParDot) to promote effective decision making through the use of dashboards and key performance indicators (KPI’s). • Fluent knowledge of CRM systems technology and pipeline development (minimum 3 years with CRM system).
Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Education or related field. • Knowledge of CSU’s graduate business program. • Recently demonstrated experience in online/distance education sector. • Experience in business plan implementation and customer and financial forecasting methods. • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic CRM systems technology.
