Applications and nominations are invited for the position of Director, Operations and Engagement, of the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University. This is a twelve-month position. The start date is as early as August 2013. The Avenir Museum Director of Operations and Engagement will provide executive leadership and oversight of fiscal and fundraising activities and partnerships. The candidate is required to have a Master’s degree; demonstrated evidence of successful fundraising, grant writing, and managing complex budgets; demonstrated leadership, administrative, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate; evidence of a team-oriented approach; evidence of experience in material culture; evidence of commitment to diversity; and availability for significant travel.
