Celebrate Colorado State!

An annual series of events held each April, Celebrate Colorado State! is a special opportunity to recognize the achievements of the campus community in the past year.
Included in the celebration are events honoring University employee years of service and retirement, outstanding alumni and university supporters, and all students, faculty, staff and researchers who have earned awards and acclaim throughout the year.

I Love CSU Day was started by the Student Alumni Connection in 2001. The 2010 I Love CSU Day campus celebration will take place on Friday, April 16. Be sure to deck yourself out in your CSU Ram gear and show your pride!
The governor's proclamation
Every year, the Student Alumni Connection drafts a proclamation for the governor to sign, officially proclaiming I Love CSU Day / Colorado State University Day as a state holiday.

Gov. Ritter signs the proclamation for Colorado State University Day.
WHEREAS, Colorado State University is a public lann grant institution of higher learning for the 21st Century, committed to excellence in teaching, research, service and extension; and
WHEREAS, Colorado State University has designated the month of April to "Celebrate Colorado State!" in order to recognze the achievements of the campus community in the past year; and
WHEREAS, the Student Alumni Connection, as part of Celebrate Colorado State month and Green and Gold Week, encourages and appreciates CSU Ram pride and campus traditions; and
WHEREAS, the State of Colorado recognizes the important role that Colorado State University plays in educating the next generation of leaders, and honors CSU for its many contributions to the people of this state;
Therefore, I, Bill Ritter, Jr., Governor of the State of Colorado, do hereby proclaim April 16, 2010, Colorado State University Day in the State of Colorado.
Spring Football Game

Rams of all ages will enjoy the Ram Town activities and inflatables on the south concourse.
Rams football is back on Saturday, April 24! Get out to Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium for the annual spring football game. Admission and parking is free.
Get a sneak peek at the 2010 CSU football team as they wrap up their spring practice season. The day starts off with a free pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m. wit the Ram Town activities and inflatables on the south concourse for the whole family to enjoy.
The spring game will start at approximately 11 a.m. After the game fans are invited to come down to the field and meet the Rams!
