An annual series of events held each April, Celebrate Colorado State! is a special opportunity to recognize the achievements of the campus community in the past year.
Included in the celebration are events honoring University employee years of service and retirement, outstanding alumni and university supporters, and all students, faculty, staff and researchers who have earned awards and acclaim throughout the year.

April 18 is 'I Love CSU Day'
I Love CSU Day was started by the Student Alumni Connection in 2001. Get your green on and celebrate I Love CSU Day on Monday, April 18 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the Lory Student Center Plaza. Stop by for:
- Giveaways
- Food (cotton candy, popcorn, candy)
- Spin board and answer CSU trivia
- Other games
The governor's proclamation
The 2011 Proclamation
Every year, the Student Alumni Connection drafts a proclamation for the governor to sign, officially proclaiming I Love CSU Day as a state holiday.
WHEREAS, Colorado State University is a public land grant institution of higher learning for the 21st Century, committed to excellence and setting the standard for public research universities in teaching, research, service and extension; and
WHEREAS, the University has designated the month of April as "Celebrate Colorado State!" month, devoted to the recognition of the achievements of the campus community in the past year; and
WHEREAS, the Student Alumni Connection, as part of Celebrate Colorado State month, leads the celebration of "I Love CSU Day" to encourage and appreciate CSU Ram pride and campus traditions;
Therefore, I, John Hickenlooper, Governor of the State of Colorado, do hereby proclaim April 18, 2011, I Love CSU Day
Spring Football Game

Rams of all ages will enjoy the Ram Town activities and inflatables at the game.
Get a sneak peek at the 2011 CSU football team as they wrap up their spring practice season. The day starts off with a free pancake breakfast and, weather permitting, Ram Town inflatables on the north concourse. On the south concourse Wendy's will be offering a free Frosty to the first 300 kids.
After the game, all fans are invited onto the field to meet the CSU players and coaches - bring your camera, a marker, and something special for the Rams to sign. Kids can also participate in an egg hunt with CAM in the north end zone. [details]
Volleyball exhibition vs. Tianjin Bridgestone

Fans of CSU’s nationally recognized volleyball program are used to flocking to Moby Arena to cheer on the Rams during the fall season. In 2011, however, the Rams are giving the Moby faithful a reason to pack the house during the spring exhibition season - an exhibition match against Tianjin Bridgestone, one of the top teams in Chinese professional volleyball.
