An annual series of events held each April, Celebrate Colorado State! is a special opportunity to recognize the achievements of the campus community in the past year. Included in the celebration are events honoring University employee years of service and retirement, outstanding alumni and university supporters, and all students, faculty, staff and researchers who have earned awards and acclaim throughout the year.

Employee Appreciation Month
April is Employee Appreciation Month, and you are invited to nominate a fellow employee who has had a positive influence on you - they may win a prize!

Celebrate CSU Milestones!
This year’s faculty and staff celebration has expanded to include those who have reached the ultimate service milestone: retirement. Celebrate CSU Milestones! will take place on April 3 in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom, beginning at 3 p.m. For more information contact CSU Events at 970.491.4601 or csuevents@colostate.edu.

Opening Reception for 2008 Undergraduate Art Exhibition
With a long history at CSU, this annual exhibition showcases the outstanding creations of student artists and is held in conjunction with the university's Celebrate Undergraduate Research & Creativity events. For more information contact the Curfman Gallery.
April 12, 9 a.m. - 3p.m.
CSUnity
Each spring, over 1,000 CSU students gather for a day of service to benefit the greater Fort Collins community. For more information about this important tradition of 12 years, visit Student Leadership Involvement & Community Engagement (SLICE).
For the second year, the Alumni Association has partnered with the SLiCE Office to bring the campus tradition of volunteering to alumni and friends nationwide! Celebrate Undergraduate Research & Creativity
Throughout the year, Colorado State University recognizes and honors the achievements of students in the areas of research & creativity. Events culminate in the CURC Showcase which feature outstanding performers and award winners from all disciplines. For more information visit curc.colostate.edu.
Dr. Wendy Kohrt from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center will speak at the CURC Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 16 at 4 p.m. in Yates 104. Students receiving honors will be recognized following Dr. Kohrt's presentation.
April 18
I Love CSU Day!
Wear your Green and Gold heart on your sleeve and celebrate I Love CSU Day with the Student Alumni Connection (SAC). Gov. Bill Ritter (B.S., ’78) has signed a proclamation declaring April 18 as Colorado State University Day in the state of Colorado.
Student Alumni Connection members will be on campus throughout the day promoting the state holiday by handing out I Love CSU stickers and other giveaways, while also canvassing the campus with the SAC Pride Patrol for Ram faithful students decked out in CSU gear. [more information]
