Lory Student Center Renovation Update
May 2013
The much anticipated revitalization of the Lory Student Center takes a major step May 20.
Beginning May 20, fencing will fully surround Student Center Central (the center part of the building), eliminating access to much of the building.
Venues Open During Renovation
LSC North and LSC South venues, however, will remain open for the full duration of the renovation, including:
- CSU Bookstore
- Aspen Grille
- Adult Learner and Veterans Services
- Student Legal Services
- Cam’s Lobby Shop
- Bagel Place 2
- Information Desk II
- Transfort
- North end meeting rooms
- The Flea Market
- Recycled Cycles
- The University Club
- Event Planning Office
- Flea Market
Venues that will move to Student Center North and stay open during the renovation, include:
- RamTech
- The Ramskeller
- Sweet Sinsations coffee cart
The LSC Theatre in Student Center South also will be open throughout the renovation.
Relocating Venues
All other venues will relocate to LSC West (the Rec Center's MAC Gym), Drake Center, or another part of campus.

Summer Lunching
Students, faculty, and staff looking for on-campus lunch options this summer can purchase a meal plan online to use at Corbett Dining Center or visit Spoons in Clark A Wing. The summer hours for Corbett are:
- Breakfast: 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Spoons's summer opening date and times will be announced in early June.
Follow the Renovation
Students, faculty, and staff can follow the renovation from nearly start to finish through a live feed on the Lory Student Center's website. Webcams placed show the view of the plaza and of the renovation on the west side of the building.
