Student Organization for Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals
The Student Organization for Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals is recognized by
Colorado State University. The organization sponsors a Speakers Bureau, monthly
educational and social programs, and a special events such as National Coming
Out Day in the fall and BGLAD (Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian
Awareness Days) in the spring.
Vision Statement:
We, as members of SOGLB , employ respect and communication for understanding
and valuing all individual. We will act as a catalyst to these ends by including
(but not being limited to) the following methods:
- Creating a safe environment
- Confidentiality
- Realistic programming for members' needs
- Continuity of community through leadership development
The Organization:
SOGLB actively strives to provide the services outlined in here as well as hold
weekly meetings and advertise events in the Collegian and other local newspapers
to reach those of you want to use out services. If you have and question about
SOGLB, homosexual, bisexual, or transgender issues, are seeking someone just
to talk with, or would like to join in and help us, we invite you to contact
